Moving my sister's cat

My sister has a fat, old cat named Hannah. She's an orange tortie of
humungous proportions with one mighty mean attitude. She lures you in with a
sweet little "meww", then rubs against your hand, then suddenly hisses,
spits and smacks you as hard as she can. Once you are thoroughly beaten, she
wanders away a few feet to keep her eye on you. I'm totally against
declawing, but I tell you what, if she had claws I would be a quadruple
amputee by now!

Anyway, sister is moving from her house to the trailer park where I live.
One day I was over at her house (alone) to get a load of stuff and thought
"I'll just grab nasty 'ol Hanna and stuff her in the carrier!". HA! Was I
ever wrong! She started hissing at me the moment I walked in and when I
tried to pick her up, the neighbors called the cops for all the screaming
(hers and mine)! Well, not really. But it was very, very loud.

I tried everything, cheese, cat food, Pounce, catnip, milk... nothing
worked, she would just sit there on her fat butt and glare at me as if to
say "I *will* kill you, you stupid hoomin!". I even called sister and put
her on the speaker phone, but Hannah would not respond to the demands of her
Meowmie to get in the cat carrier.

Finally, I gave up, leaving a bowl of food in the carrier in hopes she'd get
used to it. Upon returning to sister's new house, she inquired "where's the
cat?" to which I showed her my bruises and my trembling hands. "Get your own
dang cat, that thing is the devil's spawn!".

Later, sister and DH went to house to get said cat. Sister simply picked up
Hannah in a towel and held her in the van on the way to the new place. When
she brought Hannah in, the dang cat rubbed against my legs, said "Mewww",
purred, hissed and smacked me in the ankle!

BTW, sister said Hannah ate all the food in the carrier! D*mn cat!
