Does anyone get worried when their cat doesn't turn up for the night?
This little tart of a cat spends all day at our offices and I don't
think he goes home at night either. In fact, when people have been
pulling all nighters here, he's stayed with them.

I'd say you have an office cat! I'd find out if he has "people" and if not,
vet him and keep him in at night. He's a cutie. Looks like my mom's Tycho.

He seems to be doing well. His anal glands are better. Mom had them checked
again to make sure. So, knock on wood it will be a long time before she has
to go back with him again!

It looks to me that he *is* home. :o) At least he certainly thinks so.

"Home is where you hang your hat" -- your office is probably the only
home he has.  Is he neutered?

Like others have already said, it sounds like he/she may have decided
that he is home.

When Little Bit showed up here she had a flea collar on. She showed up
skinny, VERY pregnant, and during the middle of an ice storm, so I let
her in for the night. I didn't think I wanted or needed a cat, so I
tied a note to it asking that her owner give me a call, or I'd take
her to the local shelter. The shelter bit was an idle threat, I just
wanted to hear from any possible owners and give them a piece of my
mind. When I didn't receive a call, I decided she could stay until it
warmed up. She had other ideas, as you can tell from my sig, moved in,
had her babies in the bedroom closet, and ended up convincing me that
I not only needed a cat, but it would be best if I had multiple cats.
BTW, Sammy is one of her litter.

What a beautiful cat! Sounds like he's found a home...

Yes he has owners, one's a builder so tends to be away alot at odd
hours. He is well looked after by them though as he was taken to a vet
when a lump appeared on his head.
If it wasn't for the fact that i know he has good owners, I still
couldn't take him home. Landlords don't allow pets :/
Still, he's happy. Last week, he decided to mark the chairs so he
slept in one for an hour, moved on to another, repeat :)

So now he has a day home and a night home... Look at it this way - you
get the pleasure of his company to liven up dull and boring workdays,
and you don't have to worry about who's paying the vet bills! :)

There's a little grey kitty that hangs around John's office, and he
thought she was a stray for a long time, until he discovered that she
was actually 'warehouse cat' for one of the other buildings in the
complex - she just liked to sit in the sun and hunt squirrels :)

He's just gorgeous! And he looks very much like he IS at home - he's
just waiting for the rest of you to realise it... congratulations on
your newly acquired office cat!
