Hi Annie,

No she doesn't have an attitude.  I've had her for about two months - she
was almost 6 months when she was brought to the shelter - so very scared of
people. She would hide under the bed, but I could coax her close enough to
scritch an ear or under the chin.  Eventually she would come out but bolt if
I made a move towards her.  Lots of growling, never anything more.  I fed
her treats (meat baby sticks) from my hand to get her closer and pet her,
she'd growl (I call her grumble grumble), but eventually gave that up.
Finally one day she politely climbed up my lap and rubbed noses and cheeks
w/me - I was hooked at that point.  She's become so much more trusting now,
although she still runs when you approach her.

And yes, in answer to an earlier post, those are Lic's ears you see in Max's
picture.
