Last night when I got home I found my 21-year-old ginger guy Simon fast asleep on his pillow, snoring, with a ball of wool between his front paws. Yup, he's very frail and wobbly these days and doesn't do very much except sleep and sometimes totter over to a sunnier spot, but at nosh time he's a whole new cat. I figure that a cat who still enjoys eating that much is still enjoying life. He's an amazing cat - he was already 17 when he moved in with me and the rest of my furry gang, and he's settled in to his new life better than we ever expected. Helen Wonderful!
