2001: A Space Odyssey has just been on the google-box. Towards the end,
Nathan wandered into the room after completed his homework. He looked at the
screen and said, "Okay, I fell asleep before this the first time I watched
this film, so what's happening?" To which I responded, "He's (pointing at TV
screen) being transformed into the next stage of human evolution. he's
becoming a superior life form." To which Nathan responded, "You mean he's
changing into a cat?"

That boy has been well-trained by the felines ;-)

My two year old cousin's grandma (on the other side of the family)
has cats whom he sees when he visits her.  He has figured out by some
two-year-old logic, that since he is his grandma's grandchild, the
cats must be *his* grandchildren.  ;)
