Is that for real? It looks to me like someone has been busy with Photoshop
and "enhanced" it. I hope so, anyway.

are you sure?
it looks very much like a cat that was in the news a while back. If it is
the one I'm thinking of the girl in the pic would be a young teenager, there
were other pics of the cat with the girl and her mother with the article and
the cat was quite huge and in those different pictures it looked real. But
I agree it looks kind of oversized in the pic her even if it's a young girl
...

quick search didn't find me the article I'm on about only the one with the
poor Russian fat cat that was also in the news earlier this year:

I have to retract that. I've seen that pic so many times and I thought I'd
seen it on snopes as a hoax, but checked again and it isn't there. I sure
hope it is a phony.
