Hi All,
I wrote in the article, "The Kittens Are Here" that the feral
female we call Mama Cat had had her kittens and had then moved them to
my porch and put them under my mobility cart which was covered by a
tarp. Lynda went to move the cart and when she lifted up the tarp,
there were the kittens. She didn't pick them up, just observed them
from up close.
The next day, although we had replaced the tarp, the kittens were
gone. Mama Cat must not have wanted to take a chance with them being
around humans. Then she was on our porch most of the day for the next
week, but the kittens were not seen or heard. We were afraid that
she'd abandoned them. Just last night though Lynda was working on the
porch and heard the kittens. They must under the porch.
When they start coming up on the porch on their own, I'll post an
update.
Regards and Purrs,
O J

That's good news, you're in an ideal position to get them socialised and to
get mum neutered once they're weaned.

That is good. Just let mama feel peace and not stressed and maybe she won't
move them again. But she might.
