Mike's had several abcesses from bite wounds which I didn't see until
the abcess burst, invariably on the bed, ugh. I have always cleaned
any wounds I could see; it's the ones you *don't* see that cause
problems. :-(

Hee hee. Once Mike was arguing with a neighbor cat and the guy
cutting the grass next door heard it over the noise of the lawnmower
(!) and came around the corner with enormous eyes, saying "What the
hell was that?!" The first time DH heard Mike make that noise he
thought the poor cat must be terribly hurt. He was amazed when I said
"nah, he's just p*ssed." It is a very impressive noise. :-D

I don't know why my software posted this a second time other than I
updated to 4.0. I was surprised to see I did.
