Dakota was giving Apache a bad time tonight - wanted to
play "chase and tag" and "wrestle".  She wasn't in the
mood and had told him so repeatedly ("HSSSSSS!
SPIT!!!!")

So when I got up to intervene and he ran and hid in the
bedroom, I decided a little "time out" would help him.
Ten minutes in the bedroom, so I closed the door with
him inside.

"Meiouw!  Mee-ow! MEEE- OUT!"

I left him.  I'd let him out in a few minutes.  The door was
closed firmly - it had even "clicked" in the latch.

Two minutes later he sauntered into the living room.

So much for the bedroom door being cat-proof.

(but he's been more subdued around his sisfur since
then)

Heh. Have you seen that video where teh cat squeezes out from under the
bedroom door?  Pearl also looks past her mates after a time out. It's kind
of funny how after trying so hard to goad them, after a time out she
pointedly looks *past* them after she comes out.

I wish that would work for Shamrock. :(  Bonnie, fahgetaboudit.

Frank opens doors, too, and since he hates a closed door, all doors are
always open around here (except the front door, of course).

Frank has instituted an open-door policy. :)

My son thinks cats have interdimensional travel -- very cute photos and
stories of your two owners!
