Hi -
I mentioned earlier that I was going to be the great-grandma of twins
in June. Just got a call from Stephanie (my daughter) that Danielle
has gone into the hospital. It looks like the little ones are trying
to get here early!! They are going to try to stop the contractions
but if unsuccessful, the babes will arrive some time this weekend,
possibly even some time during tonight. The possibility of a
Caesarean has been mentioned too. Stephanie was on her way to the
hospital and will let me know what's going on. She wants me to worry
and pray with her, so I told her I'd do better than that - - I'll ask
for purrs!!!
So, please hope with me that all goes well and that Danielle and the
infants will be A-OK. Thank you much.

Purrs coming. Twins are often early. I know two that were very early and
they are sturdy kiddles now. Keep us posted.

Absolutely. I am married to a 3 pound twin who came a month early. And
neo-natal care in 1954 was prehistoric compared to today.

Many purrs coming right up. Twins are often early, my best friends are 2 lb
twins born almost 2 months early. They are perfectly fine and healthy, as
well as smart (Holly has a masters degree).

Sending some emergency purrs that it will prove to be a false alarm
and the babies will decide to wait awhile longer

Wow, a great-grandma!? Congratulations! Betty is purring for the
babies. A little early is not a big problem. My younger sister was
more than 3 months early, and she's fine - she graduated from college
last month. :)

Purrrrrrrrrrrs for the babies and Danielle! My sister had twins and they
were really early. She had some sort of injectable med strapped to her leg
to keep her from going into labor, and was on bedrest but the twins still
came early. Nearly 6 weeks early. They were in neo-natal and ICU type care
but were very healthy and even 4 years later are just as healthy as babies
born singly full term. My nephew had some respiritory underdevelopment, but
he's catching up. Many purrs!!

We are sending stay-in-there purrs, and if they don't work, convert them to
be-well purrs, and also soothing purrs to everyone involved.
