Sammy did pretty good, considering this was the loudest and longest
storm so far this spring. The first half hour she stayed in the
recliner with me intead of heading for shelter. Then the storm got
louder, and she reheading for the bedroom, so we laid on the bed for a
while. Guess she just wanted to be closer to her storm shelter under
the covers, as she laid on top of the covers through most of the
storm, only going under them during the loudest part. Actually, we're
still hearing a few booms in the distance as the storm leaves the
area, and she's asleep on top of the bed now.
BTW, Rocky stayed outside in the lawnchair during the early part of
the storm, then came inside when the serious rain started. That may
have been way Sammy decided to head for the bedroom, since she was OK
(but big eyed) in the recliner until I got up to let Rocky inside.
