Harvey has been sulking and hiding ever since we got the guinea pigs. Oh, he's
up and about. He still yells for his food and uses the litter. It's just that
we've done the Worst Thing Ever by getting the fuzzies.

Oh, Persia is completely jealous of my small parrot (lovebird), Peaches.  If
I so much as stand at the cage talking to Peaches, Persia is right there
winding around my legs, meowing.  "What are you doing talking to that bird?!
I'm right here!!"  They are just like kids when it comes to competition.

Give Harvey a little extra attention and things will work out fine.  And
enjoy your fuzzy new companions!

I try but Harvey hides or ducks into places I can't get to.

He'll most likely be ok after he's had a few more days to express his
displeasure.

I *know* that routine. I raised two orphan pigeons once. Yoda didn't forgive me
for months.
