Thanks....the 411 is useful to those who like and buy them....I've always
disliked Easter lilies.....like Sanford & son, I always connected them
w/dead people; i.e. funerals. Good for the Evil 3 though; they'll never see
any, much less chomp any.

Very good info. to share, and timely. I just wanted to add that all of the lily
family are also poisonous, AFAIK. I had a friend whose cat began vomiting and
steadily got worse, they ended up tracing it to her seeing him lying in the day
lillies in the yard and munching on them. She didn't know. The cat died from
kidney failure. It was those orange lillies that grow like wild flowers.

Here's a great link to plants and cats, what are poisonous and what are
safe plants for your kitties. Click on the links to safe or poisonous
plants on the top of the page and then List of... to see the list
complete with common name of plant, other names, botanical name, toxic
part, toxicity and symptoms.

I've found the site via Flippy's Cat Page,

under Cat Health and P as in Plants and Poisonous...

Tiger lillies. Yes, all of that family are poisonous to cats. There are
lots of things which are. I have to wonder why the cats don't sense they
shouldn't eat something like that, but then who am I to know what a cat
thinks? I'm grateful Persia doesn't like to chomp on plants, not that I
have many. There are lists of toxic plants to be found easily by doing an
Internet search. Google is your friend.
