Just got back from a quite lovely afternoon jaunt on the bike. Vernon & headed out into some beautiful Norfolk sunshine and had a pootle around the lanes. We went from home to Beeston, Fransham, Dunham, Litcham, Mileham, Stanfield, Longham & back to home. It was *wonderful*. Lambs in the fields, primroses in bloom, a barn owl joined us for a short section of the ride. Oh that all cycling days could be as today! And when we pulled in at home, Waffles, Francis and Marble were sitting in the garden, enjoying the late afternoon sunshine, waiting for us with lots of purrs and headrubs :-) Life is good! I want to go out again, but am waiting to see if the sun gets a chance to poke out from behind the clouds. If not, I'll just dress a bit warmer! It was a beautiful sunny day here in Helsinki on Sunday. Nikki and I went for quite a long walk. I tried to take Frank out for a walk, but the minute we stepped out in our yard, one of those horrible miniature hoomins came running and screeching "kissa, kissa" (cat in Finnish), so Frank turned tail and wanted IN NOW.
