Cayla lives across the road and is an elderly d*g of undetermined
parentage.  This doesn't matter, she loves everyone and is totally
devoted to her human family.

Recently, Cayla was diagnosed with severe tumors through out her body.
She's in pain now but is not ready to leave her humans.  Her humans are
also not ready to let Cayla go.  Please purr and send good thoughts for
Cayla and her humans, Carol and Daniel, that she have an easy passage to
the bridge and that the pain that everyone feels be over soon.

Purrs coming for Cayla and her family, and for all to realize that it
may be time to let go.

The post reminded me of the poem, "If I Should Grow Frail", on one of
the sites with the Rainbow Bridge.

It's another one of those that always leave a lump in my throat when I
read it.

Purrs, doggy-wags, and humble prayers for Cayla for a gentle journey
to the RB.  Much sympathy for her family.  We'll keep them all in our
thoughts.
