Four half-hour episodes of "Cops" were telecast in this area last Saturday
night. In the two hours, only one police officer was visibly injured. He
responded to a fire in a one-story block of apartments, and he and other
officers entered the units not yet aflame to warn people to get out fast.
This poor guy took pity on a cat trapped in one of the units, and grabbed it
to rescue it from danger. It lacerated his hand. He ran to the door and
tossed the terrified kitty safely out onto the lawn. His hand was bleeding
heavily, but he saved the ungrateful furball. Good on him, I say! Cops
richly deserve their salaries, and our admiration and respect.

What a great guy! I hope kitty's slaves thanked him.
Best wishes,
