A four-year-old girl has learned the hard way that being a copycat is
seldom a good idea.

It seems that the girl tried to do as her cat does and climb through the
cat door.

She put her head through the flap then got stuck.

The girl's mother and father tried greasing her ears with cooking oil,
but she would not budge - so they called the fire brigade.

The firefighters removed the frame holding the flap, allowing a few
extra millimetres of space for her to pull her head out.

LOL, Bev. I remember a storybook when I was a kid, much like this one! It was
my favorite book...but in real life, kids *do* stuff like that. I read recently
about a woman who was on a payphone, then turned around and her kid was
*inside* one of those games where you pay to use a hook to snag a stuffed
animal. They had to also call people in, and had to use the jaws of life or
some such to get him out.
The parents, like the parents in the book, need to glue some straw *whiskers"
on the kids, and like cats, teach them that if the whiskers won't fit, neither
will thhey!

I remember Puss In Boots, but don't remember Kid In Door.
