I had a little black and white visitor in my garden this morning.
I startled her when I went out early to turn the sprinkler line
on. I realised she was a cat I always used to see while I was
walking from the bus stop to my house. If I didn't stop and give
her a bit of attention as I walked past her she'd jump up and
shout "Meee!". But I hadn't seen her for a while, and I'd never
seen her roam as far as my own garden before. I'm four lots away
from her usual spot.
Anyway, I startled her, but as she was about to dash under my
house she stopped and looked again, and then all of a sudden a
"Hey, I know you, what are you doing here" look appeared on her
face and she stopped. Then she trotted over for a bit of
attention and a little dance around my hand.
She's a gorgeous little creature and I told her so.

Awwww! I'm sure she appreciated it, too. We women all like to be told we
are gorgeous from time to time ;-)
