Purring for your  Mom's kitty.  We once had a tom missing for 3 weeks
before he returned home no worse for wear.  His name was Ginger.

Purrs coming. Tell her not to give up hope. And to go out calling every
evening. My friend's cat was gone for 3 weeks and I had a cat go missing for
3 weeks once.

An awful lot of folks whose kitties go missing fail to find the missing
kitty because they expect kitty's behavior while outside to be the same
as it is indoors.
