To the vet with Wolfie -- purrs if anyone wants to

Wolfie vomited Mon. and Tues., and has not eaten for two days.  He's a
very finicky cat, so trying to tempt him with tuna, sardines, baby
food, etc., doesn't work with him.  He will only eat dry food, and
maybe ham.  He spent last night mostly sleeping under a lamp, and
facing the wall.  I am thinking it is just a bad hairball (and I've
stuffed him full of hairball meds for two days now), but I am worried.
We're off to the vets in about an hour and a half.  In the meanwhile,
any purrs would be appreciated for my Wolfie.

Purrs and meatloaf mediations are on the way from Hobbes, Selena and
Lacey and I'll send healing thoughts. Hopefully the problems can be
easily found and a simple remedy applied.

I hope it's nothing more than a hairball. Purrs for a quick, easy and painless

I am sure I am not the only one who is anxious about Wolfie.  Will you

The vet could find nothing obviously wrong with Wolfie, but he's still
having problems :-(  We decided to try some A/D canned, and force-feed
him that.  I did that Thursday, and then he did eat some of his
regular food Thursday night -- and then promptly threw it up :-(  Last
night, I was going to water it down and feed the A/D to him with a
syringe, but as I put the can on the counter, he jumped up and started
eating the cold food out of the can!  So I let him do that, and fed
him some more of his dry food later.  Someone went on a puke fest this
morning (maybe more than one cat), but we don't know who.  I'll keep
watching him over the weekend, and if he keeps having problems, call
the vet Monday, and we'll probably have to do bloodwork and x-rays.
:-(

One nice thing was that I called the vet Friday morning, and they
called again later in the afternoon to see how he was doing.  That was
really nice of them.

Anyway, so we still don't know what the problem is, so we'll just try
the best we can to get through the weekend and hope he starts doing
better.

Thank you all so much for your purrs and good wishes for my boy.

Many purrs that he gets better during the weekend. At least it's a good sign
that he ate all by himself. Maybe the food was too cold? Or maybe he ate it
too quick, after fasting some time? Here's hoping it was something like
that.

I am really sorry to hear that he's still not feeling well.  It's so
distressing when the furbabies are sick, and you can't explain it to
them and make it all better.   :-(

We send get-well purrs to Wolfie and soothing purrs and hugs to you.

We'll keep purring. Do you think wolfie would eat Nutrical (?) or
something like that? It's supposed to be concentrated nutrition for this
type of situation.
