I sat down at the kitchen table with my lunch - almond butter and fruit
spread on a slice of whole grain bread - and immediately, there was Max up
on the table. He sniffed my sandwich, licked it, and then chomped down on a
corner of the bread - all this while I was trying to eat, mind you. He
actually took a bite, and seemed to enjoy it. (By this point I was laughing
too hard to even try to take a bite.)
Maybe tomorrow I'll just make him his own sandwich.

What a cheeky little boy! Frank's nephew Igor was like that. He would even
force his Meowmie's mouth open and peer in to see if she was eating
something nice, and if he liked what he saw, he would just scoop it out and
eat it himself. And she let him do it. True cat slavery.

OK, that's beyond what even I, pushover than I am, would allow. When I
think of cats stepping around in their litter box, and then using one
of those 4 paws to reach into my mouth...? Don't think so, LOL!

Ah yes... Persia snagged a hamburger from me once. But I wasn't actually
attempting to take a bite out of it at the time :)

Awww, how cute! I can never understand what my cats or others will eat. I
was eating string cheese the other night and Casey grabbed a 'string' from
my hands and gobbled it up like it was spaghetti. He never did that before.
I hope you DO make Max his own little sandwich.

Felix loves string cheese, but only one particular brand [one specific
store's house brand]. He ignores any other brand, but if I have some
of the brand he likes, he'll grab my hand and try to get the cheese
out of it.

If she does, he'll probably turn his furry nose up at it :-).

Heh. Aren't they furry little weirdos, though? Mike was insisting he
wanted some of what I was eating earlier tonight - I broke off a
corner of a french fry and held it out to him, trying to show him it
was nothing he'd want. He ate it.

[chuckle] I've had cats who liked oranges, dill pickles, lime
Popsicles....
When I'm eating lime yogurt, Felix constantly tried to mooch some,
never mind that we both know he *doesn't* like it. :-)

Persia hates potato chips... but insists on pawing one out of my hand when I
have some, "just in case" it's something she will like. Goofy kitty :)
