Or maybe big ones, California may not be the same.

As some remember, my mother and sister are somewhat.... volatile when
they get together for extended periods of time. Well, my sister is
expecting within a short order of time. Within the week or outside of
three (we know how that goes) I should have my first nephew.

Now for the purrs.  My mother left two days ago to stay approximately
four to six weeks with my sister, a three year old and the impending
newborn. The expecting mother is somewhat... can somewhat... will be
somewhat... anxious. The expecting grandmother is how we shall say,
tearful of her likewise expected extended visit.

*hmm* Let's just advise the area to have a bag packed and treasured
valuables secure. Expect an earthquake at the least, a torrential
flooding with unheard-of storms at worst.

Purrs, miniature or giant or whatever it takes! Let's hope the joy of the new
baby will cancel out the bad stuff!! (At least for four weeks!)

It's been rainy the last couple days or so. Should I blame them or is
this just the prelude to whatever? :-)

What part of CA, anyway? :-)

Many purrs coming over for the visit to go well and your sister and her baby
to be fine.

Odd that you should say that - we have heavy rains predicted off and on
until the end of next week!  (With flash-flood watches in effect -
especially for all the recent "burn" areas, where mudslides are likely
in the event of heavy rains.)  (8-D}

Whoops. I didn't know that.

Well, Mom's not bawling to come home yet. She's a homebody. And they
haven't had an argument yet. But Dad's still there.
