>Have a look over at 9 Chickweed Lane today (20/02/04) - it's a hoot :-)
For those not in the know, "9 Chickweed Lane" is the most intellegent
comic strip readily available, and it features frequent appearances by
Solange, the family's Siameese cat (<http://www.chickweed.com/>).
Solange's best appearances are in the strips marked "Hallmarks of
Felinity" (these are obviously drawn by a very observant cat lover),
and there is a book collection of some of these. The most recent
'Hallmarks' strips were 2/14 and 2/18.
Highly recommended.

Yes, I loved it!
It reminded me of a post on another newsgroup. One of its members was
sitting in the living room when her husband decided to go to bed. Their
cat likes to perch on a desk behind where the woman was sitting. The
husband said, "You're beautiful - and kissed the cat." The wife said,
"How come you never tell me I'm beautiful and kiss me like that?"
The husband came up behind her chair, took her head between his hands
and said, "You're beautiful!" Then he rubbed her tummy, ruffled her
hair and kissed her on the top of the head.

No, actually, she was quite touched. She said she was still smiling
when she posted the story.
