I had to go out for a couple of hours this afternoon. Pea and Max were playing in the kitchen when I went out via the back (kitchen) door. When I returned home, they were occupying the two chairs nearest the door. It was as if they were thinking, "Meowmie went out that door, and we're going to sit here and wait until she comes back through it." I can never quite figure out what happened on those days that she is SO vocal on my return. When I say hello, she starts rubbing up against things and flops on your back. The back thing is a hand trap of course. Other times I'll come home and she'll be lounging on my bed. She'll let out this big yawn, "Oh, you're home now." Imp on the other hand doesn't come to see me. Most times when I come home he is asleep on my roommate's bed. But when SHE comes home, he'll come out to see her. *sigh* He likes her better, even though I feed him and change his box. He'll let her pick him up, and I'll be lucky if he doesn't run away when I pick him up. Kristi |
