Meowmie went out that door...

I had to go out for a couple of hours this afternoon.  Pea and Max were
playing in the kitchen when I went out via the back (kitchen) door.  When I
returned home, they were occupying the two chairs nearest the door.  It was
as if they were thinking, "Meowmie went out that door, and we're going to
sit here and wait until she comes back through it."

Awww, so cute.

When you came home, did they look surprised?  Like, "Hey, how'd she do that?

no, they looked more like they were thinking, "oh - it's you."

The look that gets me is sometimes opening the door to the Evil 3 glaring,
"Who are you? And what are you doing in our house?" Fortunately, not
frequent.

Minke never recognises anyone when they first come in.

What does he do? Sometimes when I come Pearl yells, and yells, and yells
like I've been gone for days though it is only a few hours. She has a lot of
Siamese in her. I can never quite figure out what happened on those days
that she is SO vocal on my return.

  Walks backward upstairs yelling.

Easy! She's a girl. She's tattling on Grant.
BTW, I get a kick out of your Pearl stories. I think I'd really like her.

Well, she is a big PITA but she's got real character for sure. She's quite
the diva and I don't understand how she survived at my brother's place. I'm
growing pretty fond of her.

Somehow, it's always the worst PITAs that get to you. I really like Pearl,
too.

Sometimes when I come home Mischief will be at the door.  When I say
hello, she starts rubbing up against things and flops on your back.
The back thing is a hand trap of course.

Other times I'll come home and she'll be lounging on my bed.  She'll
let out this big yawn, "Oh, you're home now."

Imp on the other hand doesn't come to see me.  Most times when I come
home he is asleep on my roommate's bed.  But when SHE comes home,
he'll come out to see her.  *sigh*  He likes her better, even though I
feed him and change his box.  He'll let her pick him up, and I'll be
lucky if he doesn't run away when I pick him up.
