Took him to TED today. No broken bones! Just a bad sprain. And we learned
that he tips the scale at just over 13 lbs.
Thanks again to all who purred for his well-being.
Baby Eyes continues taking care of him, laying on top of him in the cat bed
and licking him constantly. Meanwhile, Tommy, at 14 pounds, has to make do
with 7.5-pound Abelard as a wrestling buddy. He lets Abelard knock him over
and screams as if he's being killed. With each successful attack, Abelard
grows more ferocious looking, and Tommy looks more frightened.

A nice healthy fellow! Glad to hear it wasn't anything more serious. I
hope he's continuing to get around better and better!

Sounds like that's pretty funny to see :)

Aww! That's how it goes with Frank and Nikki, too. Nikki is half the size of
Frank, but when they wrestle, it's Frank who starts screaming and runs away
in the end.

The one you called "Battle 4" looks quite familiar!
I sure wish now that I had waited one more day before making the decision to
vet or not to vet. Because this morning he is actually using the leg a
little bit, and the vet bill chomped 12% of my monthly income - ouch!

But remember, you also bought some peace of mind for that. I always feel
that is worth it.

24 hours' worth of peace of mind was awfully expensive ROFL!

In retrospect, of course it sounds horribly expensive. I'd be muttering too.
But could you deal with the guilt if you'd left it one more day and it
turned out to be be serious? I couldn't live with myself had I *not* taken
my cat to the vet just for the sake of $$$, and as I suspect thats true of
any cat lover. What you paid for both peace of mind *and* freedom from a
guilty conscience :-)

I'm so glad to hear there are no broken bones.
Lots of healing vibes and purrs for the sprain,
