Mathew, Bruiser's little friend, has become a nuisance. His people never
got him nuetered. They planned to but never quite got around to it. He
is a year old I found out yesterday not a few weeks older than Bruiser,
more like a few months although Bruiser dwarfs him. I started chasing
him out of the condo starting Sunday, he was starting to bother Maya
which was going to lead to bloodshed, most probably his. In any event
Maya deserves peace and protection in her own home. He has also managed
to get a couple of pretty large males after him and they have chased him
home a couple of times, once one had him cornered and I saved him. I
have no doubt he had it coming and deserved it. I talked to them last
night and they said they know they have to get it done because of the way
he is acting at home but they took him in to get some shots and the vet
told them they have to wait 2 weeks after the shots to get him nuetered.
Never heard that before, but I could think of a couple of reasons that
made sense. They are trying to keep him in until he is fixed, but he
wants to run and sneaks out and rushes the door so if he shows up here I
give them a call and they come to get him. The bad part is now Bruiser
is out his playmate, which means he has extra energy and is bothering
Maya more. So much for domestic peace and quiet.

When my Siamese (RB) came to me as a stray 20 years ago the Vet had
me wait two weeks after shots to give them time to build immunity.
Perhaps the Vet can give him something to calm him while you wait the
two weeks.
