They come out much better with our new Canon Digital $LR camera ;)

He does that when he jumps on my desk, just by my right shoulder, and sits
and waits for me to slide away the keyboard drawer and scoop him into my
arms for some purr-cuddles (he stayed on my lap one time for a full half
hour).

I just prefer to think of him growing into his fur. The vet tech at our
vet's place put down the first time that she saw him at 4 wks old that he
was a medium haired cat (and she also made a comment that he was larger than
some 8 wk old kittens).... but now that he's bigger, he's definitely a short
haired! He also lost all of that white that was on his legs, leaving only
the white slash across his belly (it almost links his rear-most pair of
nipples) and some white 'armpit' hair on the right (left is all black), as
well as the 'cowlick' that caused that Alfalfa look that you can see in some
of his other pictures.
On another note, his bottom big-kitty fangs are coming in nicely, but he
still has his upper baby-fangs. I keep checking to see if one or the other
has fallen out, but not yet.
Thanks to everyone for their compliments on him. I keep telling him that
he's world famous, but he's too busy playing to let it go to his head (but
wait another 6 months, and then he won't let me forget it!).

Its interesting to watch kittens turn into cats. Furwise you never know. Spicey
was fuzzy like a duckling. Her body was mostly black with a bit of rustspots
and stripes on her cheeks and hips. Her body fur has gotten longer her head fur
is shorter and she has a lot more spotting.
