Just got a call from my wife, reporting strange behavior from Watermelon Man,
my monster silver tabby.
It seems she opened a jar of peanuts, and Watermelon can't get enough of them.
The cat apparently loves peanuts. He already is a fan of ice cream, always
waiting for me to finish the bowl so that he can lick it clean. (He prefers
Breyers.)
Do they make peanut-flavored catfood?

Never known a cat who didn't think peanut butter wasn't yum-good.

No, but it sounds like he might like an ice cream sundae, minus the
hot fudge of course (maybe with butterscotch instead?) and lots of peanuts.
And what cat doesn't like whipped cream?

Is peanut butter ok for cats?

Absolutely. It's good for them, too. And will provide you with a bit
of entertainment while the furball tries to figure out *how* to get it
off the palate...
OTOH, Chaos insists on taking her share of Red Velvet Cake, which I
just know is not good for her.
WalMart now sells single-serving-size cakes, so this batchelor can
have some. Once a month, no more!
I don't know what ingrediment does it, but the moment she smells it,
she's up here and she WILL have some. I sit back and watch as she
ever-so-delicately tastes the frosting. This phase lasts about 15
seconds, then she dives in. Frosting and cake get well-chomped. Then I
have the entertainment of watching her ever-so-dignifiedly try to get
her whiskers, vest, eyebrows, ears (yes, ears) and nose clean...
