As I was shopping for Barbie stuff for my now 4 year old neice's purrday
party, I came across "Barbie's Pets".  Adorable!!  Proportionately, they
seem too big to be pets of Barbie's, but *what* about this girl is
proportioned correctly?  lol  Any way, they have two sets of cats and two
sets of dogs.  One of the cat sets is two persians complete with
accessories: trophy from a cat show with certifiCATe, claw clippers and a
brush (good to know Barbie doesn't declaw!)  The other cat set has two
moggies complete with scratching post, ball of string and a toy mouse.  I
LOVE IT! I had to buy one of the sets for myself and now I have to have the
other set. They have bobble heads.  lol

Also, many many purrs for those in need... I'm sorry this is consolidated
but I've been busy and I'm soooooo behind.
Victor's grandmother, Sherry's woes, Julie's Selena  (Shamrock has skin
allergies, too and it is hard seeing him go through this and trying to get
him relief - he gets shots, too. Depo), the blind kitties to get homes
through Mary's wonderful deeds, Happy belated Purrday to Stacey and Helen,
Shirley's La Nina's stitches (what a brave girl!), Nik's Mojo and anyone
else who needs purrs that I've missed.

Doesn't one of those sets have a litter pan? I thought I saw one....I'm glad to
hear you bought one, because I *almost* did and thought I was a bit nutty for
wanting it. Thanks. Think I'll take the plunge and buy it now. I still have a
real fondness for Barbie, too--I obsessively sewed Barbie clothes back when I
quit smoking to keep my hands busy. My favorite pattern was the replica of
Princess Diana's wedding gown, I must have made a half dozen of them LOL...
Ken, BTW, has been naked forr the past 40 years and is still naked in that
cardboard box.  He just isn't fun to sew for.

Posting to both Cheryl and Sherry: It *is* good to know, yes, that Barbie
doesn't declaw but clips her Persians' claws, and maybe Ken would be fun to
sew for if you made him a bunch of Elvis outfits complete with sequins,
feathers, and fake fur.....OTOH, would Barbie then date him? Arrrrrrrgh (a
Cap'n. Pine Cone growl).

Good idea. Or Ken in drag. I could call him Kenna. I don't care what Barbie
thinks. They've been naked in that box together for so long, it would just be
wrong to separate them noww.

I don't care what you do to dress Ken up, I wouldn't date him.

Good thing, as I still loves the womens.  Barbie ain't a womens, but she
chews well.  I found one the blonde wench used to have laying around and
the fat wench had to take it away from me.  She said that teething on
barbie's face ain't right.  I can't imagine why.  The blonde wench ain't
into barbies, thank you.  She says they're boring.

AFAIC, the blonde wench (my, you *are* a sassy Tomcat) is right...they *are*
boring. Unless you are a female hoomin child, with parents willing to buy
you all it's accessories; or a bored feline Tomcat pirate, with teeth that
need sharpening.....

**Pine Cone struts proudly around the room, honored at being called a
sassy Tomcat.**

I noticed that with Barbie babies as well (not that they are *her* babies,
nieces or nephews, et. al). They're HUGE.. and I'm like.. there is no way
that tiny little Barbie pumped out that huge baby! LOL.

Stacey :)

La Nina thanks you for the purrs (little monster is chewing on my
watch strap and occasionally my arm at the moment ! ).

Now I want a couple of those Barbie cat sets, one  for my birthday
tomorrow and one for my grand-daughters birthday on Tuesday (haven't
seen them for sale on this side of the pond ) :-(

Oooo-oooooo!  Where where where?  I *must* have these!  As a silly
sorta Barbie collector, these sound great!  I have the veterinarian
Barbie and the Kitty Fun Barbie, but hadn't heard of the pet sets.
Can't wait!

Ginger-lyn
who's giggling at the other posts in this thread.  And still doesn't
even *have* a Ken at all -- lol
