She caught a vole this morning - live - with attached salad leaves (bits of
greenery from the undergrowth in which she caught the vole) and dropped it on
the office floor - just as a visitor was about to arrive for a business
meeting.
I know my cat is better when she is back in full "let's embarrass Meowmie when
she's trying to impress" mode.

Will do :-)
Vernon was the mighty hunter this afternoon - he managed to catch the vole and
set it loose in the garden.

Cinder is carrying around a sock with a pompon on it. I assume she's doing
her best as a cheerleader for Waffles.

So glad the mighty huntress is back in form. Nikki did a similar thing once.
This was long ago, when Nikki was still trying to teach Frank to hunt.
She had caught a vole and brought it home, along with some salad (grass from
where she caught the vole). She carefully laid the vole down (this one was
dead already) in front of Frank and then stepped back. Frank sniffed the
vole, then started lustily chomping on the grass.

Now that sounds encouraging! Yay! (for Waffles, not the vole)

I'm glad she's better. I told those voles to watch out, but did they listen?
