Max sometimes dunks his toys in his water dish.  I'm aware that this is a
Birman trait, so I'm not surprised.  But yesterday he did something
puzzling...

He came over to the heat grate, toy in his mouth, and held the toy over the
grate for a while before batting it across the floor.  A little bit later,
he did this again.  By the third time, I had to know what was going on, so I
knelt down and touched the toy.

It was wet.

I guess Max was attempting to blow-dry it!

Hmm, wonder if Nikki has some Birman in her, because she does this, too. I
don't really see how she could have any Birman blood in her, but you never
know.

Clever Max, to have figured out how to dry his toys!

Sammy sometimes washes her toys, but seems to think the best way to
dry them is to line them up on the floor. Sometimes, though, when only
washing one or two at a time she puts them inside my slippers.

I don't know, Vino is supposed to be 1/2 Birman and he never does anything
like this.  But I've long suspected that he's not 1/2 Birman but 1/2 Ragdoll
instead.  I only saw the father from about 25 feet away, but he sure looked
more Ragdoll to me and Vino has so many Ragdoll characteristics.  Who knows?
