I updated her webpage with recent pix.  Her fur doesn't look as good because
I had to let the ringworm go for 3 weeks, but  you can see she's happy and
moderately healthy.  Scroll down towards the bottom of the page to see the
latest additions.

Did you get the LymDip???  After the initial bath, I never bathed mine
again, just 'spot' treated their places that had the ringworm, using either
kleenes or toilet paper, or cotton balls.  The worst one was Minnie (adopted
out) she had it on her nose & her left ear, and she didn't like the smell of
the LymDip, so it made her harder to treat

It was finally gotten rid of (yay) and there have been no re-currences on
any of my cats (but I still get a spot when *I* get stressed... I imagine if
I were in Lori's position, I would be one giant ringworm patch by now...)

Oh, what a sweetheart your little Minnie is!  I didn't get LymDip, I
got........let me check....... Pharmaseb.  It's for cats, dogs and horses.
It was all the vet I went to offered and I haven't been able to get a ride
to another vet to get another opinion.  I'm gonna wash her until it's gone.
We'll see what happens.

She's looking so much better, thanks for posting. She looks so happy in
tha last picture. I hope she integrates well with your current cats when
she's finally clear of the ringworm. Pity you can't give the rigworm to
the trolls that have been arround.

Me too!  And it's going to be soon which is why I am going to aggressively
treat this b*st*rd of a fungus!  She needs to be with us in the house
instead of isolated.  I've got my fingers crossed.  My hubby wants to go out
and buy lamocil or tinactin tomorrow so after her bath we're going to coat
the worst spots with a cream.  We're going after it now with a vengeance
since we've gotten the go-ahead (according to the vet) that she can be fully
treated post surgery.

That's the first time I've looked at her pictures.  She sure looks like a
frost point Siamese to me.

Jo, what does frost point mean?  I always hear about blue points and such,
but I'm clueless on those terms.  I've always taken in strays - domestic
shorthair strays.

There are different names for each color variation on a "color point" cat
such as a Siamese.  They are born virtually white and the tips of the ears,
the tail, and the mask darken as they age.  Seal points have deep brown
points, blue point grey, lilac point lighter grey.

And I'm probably wrong on the use of frost point to describe white with
cream or gold points like Pua.

Trying to look it up, sounds like blue point is darker grey, lilac lighter
and frost even lighter.  (Of course many a lilac kitten turns out to be a
blue cat.)

So we will wait to hear from someone who knows more about the color
variations than I do.  And agree that she is lovely.

I just hope I get this ringworm under control.  I think she's gonna be a
beauty with much love and care.

Poor baby.  I hope she gets relief soon.  She looks Siamese.  Purrs for
good health.   MLB

Thanks, MLB.  I'm hoping she's going to get relief soon, too.

When she's all okay and integrated into your family, she's gonna
be quite a lap fungus.  Lucky you!  She looks like a delightful,
loving, baby.
