Yesterday I was knocked out by a nasty migraine (cluster headache,
technically) all day. I slept a good part of the day, then just sat in
front of the TV on a drug-induced haze. :)
Basho was a good nurse, he sat on my chest and purred for a good two
hours. Later he was relieved by Luna, who rested on my legs a good part
of the afternoon. Rufous came by several times to check on me and purr.
That guy purrs LOUD! And for no apparent reason... he's such a cutie. :)

Perhaps you shouldn't start drinking so early in the morning. Have
you tried AA?

His admittance to drug abuse is noted. I think we should report him to
animal control. No pet would be safe with this loser.

Hope you are feeling better. Extra scritches for your nurses.

So glad to hear you have such good nurses, Victor.
Lots of purrs and best wishes,

I've discovered during my recent bout of bronchitis that Miranda is the
most excellent nurse kitty. Every time I lay in bed, she would be
walking all over me, giving me a gentle massage as she 'made biscuits'
all over my body. She has a funny habit of trying to cover as much
ground as she can when she's kneading (Frank always stays in one place
while he kneads). And she has a very quiet, discreet purr that is very
soothing. Not like the rumbling engines of the boys.
Caliban is more in-yer-face with his administrations. He kneads my face
and neck, and then he lies down on my nose so that I can't breathe. He
loves being near my face.
Frank just lies on the pillow next to mine and rumbles on, which is
soothing in its way, too.

AAAAWWWWWW, it almost (almost) makes we want to be poorly to
see how my "guys" react. Somehow I think not too well:
Raki would be trampling all over me in an attempt to get me up for
walkies
Claudius would be romping & scratching me under the covers from boredom
Snowball would be his usual stately self meatloafing nearby
Bandit (bless him) would be the best, snuggled down next to me.
But I'm only their hoomin: what do I know?
