In the same boat

Well, my flu turned into bronchitis, so I'm on antibiotics now, too. At
last I can tell Frank we're in the same boat when I try to squirt the
ABs into his mouth. At least I got some very nice-tasting cough syrup,
too. I'm on sick-leave for the rest of the week, and I don't even have a
fever any more. Maybe I can catch up on rpca now.

Purrs are going out to those who need them, especially in the New
Orleans area. The whole tragedy is only now starting to unfold to me, as
I was so out of it with the fever and worrying about Frank last week.
There are no words adequate enough to say how sorry I am about what's
happened.

Take care of yourself Marina. Bronchitis can turn into pneumonia if
the bacteria  get to the lungs. I had broncitis once and was told to stay
home for a week.
Purrs for you and Frank.

Big purrs for you and your whole gang, Marina.  Are Cali and Mir
respectful of yours and Frank's conditions?

HAHA. They don't know the meaning of the word. At least Caliban doesn't.
I think he is losing his last baby teeth, since he is gnawing on
everything. Miranda does seem a little worried about Frank, and
sometimes goes and checks on him if he is under the bed. He doesn't hide
there very often now, though. It's only when I've given him his meds
that he goes to sulk under the bed for a few hours.

Take care of yourself Marina, as Winnie said.  Take advantage of the week's
rest, and don't MAKE yourself do anything. Keep warm.

New Orleans... well it's the tragic destruction of one of America's most
beautiful, historic and original cities. New Orleans was older than our
nation itself. Recovery will take years, and I wonder if it will ever truly
be the same. I suspect not, alas.  And the human suffering, lawlessness, and
loss of life that happened there last week are a national shame.

Purrs for you and Frank to feel better soon.  Get lots of rest - that
bronchitis can sure turn nasty if you don't treat it nicely.  Sorry that
your new ones aren't tip toeing around you while you're sick :-)
