I have 5 cats and 4 ferrets, and the ferrets rule most of the time :-) Except for this morning, maybe an hour after I'd seen the movie and posted here Jingo, one of the ferrets, walked up to a cube that's left of a tall scratching post to go to sleep there, and Mickey, one of the cats, got in just before Jingo did.......... In that video, the cat dominated, but I can see that in your home, the ferrets do rule! They just have more energy than any grown up cat! Don't forget this is a 3 month (by now 4 month) old ferret. She can drive the other ferrets crazy too with her energy :-) LOL, at the moment I'm writing this I see her go off with a table spoon........ Is Misty the Orange tabby? That cat has the patience of Job. Did she EVER get a nap? Misty has a lot of patience, though he makes a lot of noise when he's so patient ;-) Sometimes Joy or Rose climbs on his back when he's lying on the floor, and grooms him in a rather rough way, scratching like a cat on a scratching post, and licking, biting and shaking him, and he seems to like it. Oh well, he's a bit strange, he likes to be vacuumed too....... I think he likes everything they do with or in his hair, but when they bite his face or his paws he starts screaming (but doesn't leave). Before you think I'm mean, the cats have some spots in the living room that the ferrets can't reach, and also the cats can get out of the living room, and the ferrets can't. The orange boy is a wonderful friend. Joy seems to love him a lot. My (older) kitties were never too thrilled when I got ferrets. My girlfriend's all grew up together and they are great fun to watch. Ferrets are amazing little creatures!!
