A close relative recently took Bud, his 14-year-old long-hair former stray
with a mind of his own, to the vets to be groomed. When he picked up his
kitty who is diabetic, he has handed the invoice. It listed a supply of
insulin my relative needed for Bud, and the cost of grooming - with this
added comment:
"Not a happy camper, back feet may still be damp / Bud is going after the
brush and comb and me."

Pretty bad when you get a bad report card from the groomer!

My RB cat Doc had the following warning in his vet file: EXTREME CAUTION
He did not like to be handled. He was fine at home with me, but not at the
vet!

Same problem I had with Jazz. He also had EXTREME CAUTION, NASTY CAT on his
TED chart. He wouldn't let anybody else touch him except for me. That's why
they couldn't treat him when he got blocked the last time and he had to be
put down. :(
