It's hot out there today! I did my increasingly regular Tuesday 45-mile bike
ride and noticed that the reading of 32 on my cycle computer referred to
temperature in Celsius rather than speed in miles per hour ;-)
I could tell it was hot, as I passed several cats en route as I cycled
through various villages, and as the morning wore on, more and more were
seen in the dappled shade of under a tree in a garden, or in the long grass
of a verge at the edge of a property. On the return home, through one
village, the driveway to the property was shaded by a large tree and at the
entrance of the driveway from the lane, were three ginger & white cats sat
in a row. It was funny - as I cycled towards where they were, I spotted them
looking at me - and as I cycled by, I swivelled my head to keep watching
them and could see they'd swivelled their heads to keep watching me... They
were seriously cute - all very similar in build and coat markings. I wonder
if they were related to each other.

My girls love watching people walk or cycle by. They get almost as excited
as if they see a bird.
