Last week, I was picking Dulce Mae up, when a neighbor made scary
noises. Dulce Mae used my wrist as a launch pad.
Just for the record, the picture looks a lot worse than it is - I
took this with my camera phone. The scar is actually healing rather
well:

Eek. Yeah, don't pick cats up unless you are sure a vacuum won't be suddenly
turned on either.

Maybe Molly is just being smart when she objects to being picked up and
held.

holy s***. I've had scars from both Jazz and Lily jumping on me at times,
and Jazz could go into attack mode if he was ornery enough, but none ever
ended up like this. Hope it doesn't get infected. :(

Stinky is not ordinarily a claw-user at all, but he sometimes uses me
for mid-air kick-turns as he zooms through the house, and I get left
with a scratch or dig from the back claws. I call that a "drive-by."

Did you guilt trip your neighbor about it ;o)? Hope it heals well and
quickly, Mark.

Ouchie!! Yes, I have one of those on the other side of my arm from
when I tried to clip Orca(t)'s claws, many months ago. I call it
a 'battle scar'. You wear yours well.

I had a similar injury a few years ago, when I was trying to give Snoopy
a liquid wormer, she got me with her back claws. I did get a laugh from
it though, my then 3 year old neighbour, looked at it, and said very
seriously, "you'll have to get your mummy to kiss it better". :-)
