There's a troll infestation in progress on another ng I've followed since I
first went online, alt.fan.barry-manilow .

This happens occasionally. Manilow, like cats, seems to be a topic that
ignorant trolls feel compelled to take swipes at.

I discussed, on there, RPCA's technique for holding Troll-BQs and posting
recipes.

One numbskull responded "Cat-related groups! Great idea!"

So, who knows if said dimbulb will be making ITS way over here or not? But
if IT does, feel free to recipe IT within an inch of ITS life. ;o)

I saw some of those posts on alt.cats, so maybe they won't get past the
alt.* newsgroups, not realizing that there is a whole 'nother slew of
groups, consisting of re.*, soc.* etc., etc.

Actually, I think this person/group of people is assaulting a whole bunch
of groups at once, to see whom they can get a rise out of.

They still deserve an avalanche of recipes. ;o)

Actually, what they REALLY deserve is for their parents to find out that
they've been abusing their time online, and get grounded from using the
computer for a few months. Too bad THAT'LL never happen.

Really??? I LOVE Barry Manilow. I never even realized he had a
usenet group. I'm gonna go over there RIGHT NOW and straighten those
a.sholes out about the world's greatest living singer/songwriter (next
to Rolf Harris). They have no business flaming Manilow fans.
