I don't know what is up, but all of a sudden, both Little Feet and
Buster have decided that the best thing in the world is to sit or lie
atop us at night.
Usually, I end up with Buster lying across or between (which position
I take great pains to keep him from stomping on or applying excessive
pressure to tender parts) my legs, and Little Feet lying on my chest,
back or hip, depending on my current sleeping position.
Should I get up at night, Buster moves to sleep on Senyah, as does
Little Feet.
It used to be that Little Feet used to sleep on the bed, above my
pillow or above Senyah's Pillow. Buster used to just sleep curled up
against our sides or legs.
Maybe it's our body heat, or just a desire for closer human contact...
Hugs and Purrs,
Mark

When I was young, all of our cats liked to sleep on my chest. The current
crew seems to be armpit snugglers, although Cali has tried the chest thing a
couple of times. I suspect things haven't gotten a bit too lumpy over the
years for the cat's comfort. :)

What cracks me up is when I turn on my side, and Stinky perches on my
hipbone. King of the hill.

I've heard of cat that are hip sitters, but Betty believes that it's
the responsibility of the human to make a soft, flat surface. If she
finds me on my side, she'll make a demonstration by hopping over me
like a hurdle, then pawing at me from the front, as though to try to
push me over. :)

I am glad cats are hip sitters. When Rusty sits on my sore hip and
purrs, my hip feels better, especially with his warm soft fur. Better
than a heating pad.

Soncek does that as soon as it gets colder. And we are having an amazingly
cold August here in Slovenia.
Best wishes,

Tyrone likes to sleep on the pillow next to my head lately, but I have long
hair and I tend to get "trapped". Plus he likes to touch my face while
watching me sleep, but touching isn't quite the right word. More like,
stabbing. It's very startling when you're sound asleep.
