after 3 days of Immodium and almost 5 days of Flagyl, his deposits are
still on the soft side.  I'm starting to get a little concerned.
Tonight is his last dose of flagyl.

The next step for something like this would include a return to the vet
and include a possible change in regime of drugs and possible abdominal
x-rays.

I'm praying that it doesn't have to come to x-rays, becasue that's $115
and even with my discount that's a lot.  And I'm also still paying off
the $350 it cost me to board three cats and two birds and get them
checked up and bathed and cared for.

*sigh*

I don't go into work tomorrow but if there still is a soft deposit i'm
going to call Dr. Z and ask her what to do next.

Purrs that whatever is up with Imp's GI tract stops

Wait for a week and see how he is, then decide on the next step after that.
You haven't given him enough time to recover yet.
It's easy to see you work for a vet <g>

hehe, well it's not like i'm wanting him to have to go to the vet

but after learning a lot in school and at work about diseases and
clinical signs it's hard not to think of them when presented with
something.  A cat could come in with a simple skin rash and suddenly
i'm trying to remember everything i've learned about types of
dermatitis and how to treat them and then the vet just prescribes a
simple ointment.  :P

Ah well, it's all good

Coming late to this, I hope Imp is feeling better by now. Purrs for his
little tummy. With three cats here on antibiotics, there are some upset
tummies around here, too.
