Cat Forum / General Topics / September 2005tongue sticking out
My cat is 6 yrs old and she seems perfectly healthy to me. I've just noticed the past cpl days though, that her tongue is sticking out a wee bit. This never happened before. I've been reading (on other old posts here) that it's either nothing, or it's dental issues. Before panicking, like I usually do (4 cats, 2 dogs) and take her to the vet, can someone tell me any other reasons they have heard of for this to happen? It's hardly out at all, just the tip. I was told by my Mother that the cat tongue would protrude like that, when they were completely relaxed and happy.
