My cat is 6 yrs old and she seems perfectly healthy to me. I've just
noticed the past cpl days though, that her tongue is sticking out a wee
bit. This never happened before.

I've been reading (on other old posts here) that it's either nothing, or
it's dental issues. Before panicking, like I usually do (4 cats, 2 dogs)
and take her to the vet, can someone tell me any other reasons they have
heard of for this to happen?

Please and thank you.

Thanks for the confidence ;-), but I think very few of us can give you a
precise diagnosis without seeing the cat.
If you don't want to take her to the vet right off, I suggest you call
the vet and discuss it with him on the phone.

My cat does this all the time (her teeth are healthy).  I think it's just a
cat thing, although I've caught our dog George doing the exact same thing the
other day.

Is it very hot there?  Both cats and dogs will stick out their tongues to help
them cool off, since they can't sweat through all that fur.

It's hardly out at all, just the tip.

I was told by my Mother that the cat tongue would protrude like that, when
they were completely relaxed and happy.
My problem is drooling

Have you seen a Doctor about it?
