Our two cats will be our "carry on" on a flight from L.A. to NYC. We
have tranquilizers to give them prior to the flight. We have never
done this before so I don't know what to expect. Has anyone had any
experience with pets on a 6 hour flight?

thanks..

I have travelled with my cats many times. I have never tranquillised them.
It can be a good idea to cover the carrier completely, so it is dark
inside - this has a calming effect on most cats - this should be done at
the beginning of the journey.
