Can a cat that old get pregnant? I'd ask a vet about that. I
wouldn't put a cat through spaying unless it was necessary.

As long as a female cat has heats, she can in principle get mated
succesfully and become pregnant. I would not recommend letting such an
old female go through a pregnancy, delivery and raising of kittens -
OTOH I wouldn't recommend putting her through anesthesia and surgery
either... Talk things through with your vet - maybe their is an alternative.
