Your poor kitty is grieving for her kittens. How sad. This should not be
allowed to happen again. Please have your cat spayed asap. For info see this

smacked that dog so hard...

I would have taken the dog straight up to the vet to have it put down.

I think it is an extremely sad situation.  The dog must have been
jealous of the cat.  You need to make sure that you show lots of
affection to the cat.

Not sure if it is possible, but maybe contact cats homes to see if they
have any kittens that have lost their mother and maybe you could pair
them together.

And to the dog too, as hartbreaking as it seems.
If he *is* jealous of the cat, there must be a reason...
and only much love will change his mind for the best.

That's a good and very clever idea !
Or if you could find some kittens that people can't
(or don't want to) keep...

Yes, I would have done it in anger and was irational after reading
initial post. But I would not have been happy with the dog :(

if only the dog was secured by some sort of fence to prevent this
tragedy. But if you try the idea of matching (good idea) be
careful. The mother could take it the wrong way and attack the new
kittens.

How stupid !!!!!!!
The dog is just only a dog, acting as a dog !
Don't want him to be smarter than you are...
acting as you say, you would be more stupid
and more cruel than him, because *you* are
(supposed being a bit) intelligent (I wonder...).
The dog doesn't understant that he was doing bad...

No, the dog is evil and must be destroyed.

It kills kittens, could you trust it with a baby?

You're a very clever guy, aren't you !!!

The dog kills kittens, so he is evil and you kill him...
You kill the dog, so *you* are evil and must be destroyed.
I won't trust *you* with a baby neither : you're too quick-tempered
and you would hit him under the influence of a fit of anger...
You must be destroyed and I will gladly take you to the vet
to have you put down !!!

My momma cat just had 5 kittens.  I've been keeping an eye on them as
some of her previous kittens don't appreciate the new kittens as much
as I do.

It isn't just dogs you have to watch!
