had a beautiful, sweet gray persian for 14 yrs. she died today of
cancer. it spread so quickly there wasn't much we could do for her

Very sorry to hear of your loss Geoff. 14yrs is a long time. It's hard,
but it will get easier in time.

My condolences. I have a gray medium hair(Alley) and her daughter
(Baby, a Calico). I'm convinced the calico is going to live forever...
she's SO healthy. Mama can't be much more than a year older than Baby
and she's 15. I think Baby will live into her 20's barring sickness. I
had a black cat that lived 23. I'm sorry... this must be hard to read
after your loss. Again, sorry for your loss.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. I can tell you that in time it will get
easier. I lost my Harrison January 11th of this year. He crossed the
Rainbow Bridge at the age of only 8. I've missed him so very much. The
hurt and pain has lessened but the memories are with me and that's such
a comfort. I have two other cats which have helped to ease my painful
loss of my baby boy. It sure hurts when they have to leave us but I
wouldn't trade it for all of those years of love they give us.
