Shes not Sitting down to Wee?

Hi all,

My female cat 2 and a half years old is sometimes being a bad girl,
I use the Crystal Kitty Litter. because it absorbs allot and lasts up to a
month. She has been caught out a few times Standing and weeing all over my
carpet and book case. I told her NO...

She has been 3 times since I caught her out and she has sat like a good
cat.

Why does she spray her wee all over sometimes?

Is it because she don't like the litter box or crystals? Its strange
because this is the first time she has sprayed using this crystal litter and
ive been using it for 6 months now she was worse with the paper litter.

The crystal litter is only 2 weeks old it lasts 4 weeks???

Has your cat been spayed? If not then kitty is probably trying to
attract a male cat.

I haven't used the crystal litter so I don't know about how long it will
last but here's a test you can do. Bend down so that your nose is about
the same distance from the litter as your cat's nose would normall be.
If it has a strong ammonia odor, it should be cleaned. Also when you
change the litter you should wash the box with a mild soap and hot water.
Be sure to rinse all of the soap out also.
