I have a 5 month old male cat. I live in a basement and it is always
trying to get out. I have that problem taken care of.

The cat is not afraid of anything. Whould it be cruel to take it to
the pet store? There are some in the area that let you do this. Or
would that be like teasing it. giveing it a little freedom just to put
it back in the basement. the basement is not super small but it still
wants to go out.

Why would you want to take it to the pet store? *don't understand the
concept*

Is he neutered? If not, he might be wanting to get out to have his way
with some lady cats... Neutering him might help the situation quite a bit.

Troll?
Child, Living D. - 15 Jan 2005 09:37 GMT
I am not a troll.

I live in Michigan. There are a number of pet stores in this area that
encurage people to bring in their pets. Mainly people bring in dogs, I
belive becuse most cats would be scared, but my cat is not afraid of
ANYTHING.

I thought he might like going for a ride with me and going in the
store. I belive he would. but I do not want to tease it. So that is
why I asked.

He is not neutered yet, so I guess I will not yet. but wuould it be
cruel if he was neutered?

Personally, I would never do it. Cats are much more territorial than
dogs and do not take to strange cats very well. In a pet store situation
they do not have any way of getting to know each other slowly. I think
it would unneccessarily stressful for all cats involved.
