It might have a urinary tract infection or a bladder infection. Let a
vet have a look.

I agree. When it comes to inappropriate urination it's best to first rule
out a medical problem.

Be glad your cat pees in sinks and not on the carpet..but yes, it still
sucks.

haha That would be terrible but remember you have to use the sink but at
least you can rinse the sink out. lol

She doesn't have a medical problem, we checked. One thought was that
she could smell a buildup of sewer gas when the seasons change, but she
seems to do it all year round.

OMG! My cat is doing the same thinkg she goes to the basement and gets on
the counter and 30 sec. later our basement smells terrible! SHe also pees
in teh bathtub. I clean it everyday.EWWWW!!!

rinse a sink is easy
so is the cat box in a dark corner, can she can see anything?
and if you stick your nose at her 4 inch level do you pass out?
if the cat going to the bathroom causes you distress
then your CAT is possibly going through distress
you should take her to the vet and chat.
if you think the cat should have meat with garlic then, you made your own
problem.
