Oh, and that thing that is a little further towards his rear end, well
that's his............

They are sort of evenly placed. How many nipples is a cat supposed to
have ? This is my first cat so I don't know what they're supposed to
have on their stomach. It doesn't look big enough to be a nipple but I
don't know much. All I know is this is the first time I felt them and
I want to be sure it isn't something that shouldn't be there. I'm
willing to take a picture if someone know what to look for. I never
considered nipples on a male cat and not that small anyway.

You can't tell that, and shouldn't be saying it.
Take the cat to the vet.
(Never "pick" at things.)
It's impossible to diagnose something like that
in a newsgroup. Too many posssibilities. That
he isn't keeping his food down is serious.
While likely not the problem with your cat,
there is a form of cancer that would cause
something like you describe -- both in the
bumps on his belly, and the vomiting. That
just illustrates why A. people should check
things with the vet, and why B. people in
newsgroups shouldn't just arbitrarily say
"oh, it's nothing".

Male cats *definitely* have nipples, just as I'm assuming you do.... ;)
It's still good you're getting him to the vet, though, since he's been sick,
and you can ask while you're there just to be sure, but a cat's nipples do
indeed look like tiny little pimples. You might only have found two because
the others were hidden in the fur. As I understand it, females have six
nipples, and males have four, but I'm not positive on this (I'm sure someone
else can verify). So I wouldn't worry about the bumps too much, but I do
hope the vet can sort out his tummy problems post haste! Please keep us
updated....
All the Best,
Ann
